This page explains what personal information CitedGroup collects, why, and what we do with it. Plain version: we collect what we need to run your scan and deliver the service, and nothing else.
What we collect
- Free scan requests: your practice name, website and city, your name, role, email address and (if you give it) phone number, the number of dentists, and the services you want more patients for, from the form on our home page.
- Clients: the onboarding details you give us, such as services, service area, opening hours and your Google Business Profile link, plus our email correspondence with you.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We see your name, email, billing address and the last four digits of your card. We never see or store your full card number.
Our website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and does not track you. Stripe sets its own cookies on the checkout page we email you after your call, which is on Stripe's domain, not ours.
Why we collect it
To run the scan you asked for, to deliver and support the service you bought, to take payment, and to reply to you. We do not use your information to advertise to you beyond replying about the service.
Who else handles it
- Stripe processes payments and stores billing details.
- Web3Forms delivers the scan request form to our inbox.
- Google Workspace hosts our email.
- Cloudflare hosts this website.
- Directories and platforms receive your business information, such as name, address, phone, hours and services, because getting you listed is the service. That is business information, not personal information about your patients.
We never sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Scan requests that do not become clients are deleted within 12 months. Client records and billing records are kept as long as Canadian tax law requires, currently six years.
Your choices
Email info@citedgroup.ca and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. If you ask us to stop emailing you, we stop.
Where your information lives
Our suppliers are based in Canada and the United States, so your information may be stored or processed outside your province or country, where other governments may be able to access it under their own laws.
